LM Information Delivery has been chosen as approved supplier to Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) and Higher Education Purchasing Consortium, Wales (HEPCW). The agreement covers subscription management services for print and electronic content and electronic access and management services to more than 100 members of the consortiums. LM Information Delivery offers member libraries a wide range of professional services and cost-efficient products for information acquisition and management.

SUPC and HEPCW members obtain fast track service and thus ordering, claiming and renewing subscriptions is quick and reliable. LM Information Delivery combines competitive pricing and a complete set of e-resource management and assessment services making it possible for the member libraries to increase their cost-efficiency and gain better control over their electronic collections.

"We are proud to have been chosen as an approved supplier for the SUPC and HEPCW. The contract strengthens our position in the UK markets and among academic libraries. Our strategy is to implement a continuous process of innovating and developing service concepts and technical solutions for our academic library customers. New services improve efficiency and save time in information retrieval, as well as improving access to information and enhancing management routines," says Janne Järvinen, CEO of LM Information Delivery.

Professional and local Customer Support in UK and Ireland

LM Information Delivery established a local affiliate in the UK in 2010 to serve customers in UK and Ireland. LM Information Delivery UK gives service and supports libraries and corporate customers locally and offers a new range of products for e-resources. Last year LM information Delivery was selected as one of the three preferred partners for London Universities Purchasing group for subscription management services in UK.

Tony Roche, the Director of LM Information Delivery in UK, has held senior management positions with International Subscription Agents for many years. Tony Roche is presently a member of the Association of Subscription Agents executive committee and a member of the United Kingdom Serials Group (UKSG). Both of these organisations are involved with the management and dissemination of information in all aspects of the print and electronic world within the academic, corporate, research, medical and public library worlds.

LM has recently recruited many professionals in the UK due to their extensive experience within the information services industry. Janne Järvinen, Group CEO, believes that their collective knowledge and expertise will have a positive and recognizable impact for customers and the level of service they have hitherto been receiving.
